Amy

This beautiful young lady joined Hook Home Help in 2025. She also works at The Old Raven Care Home and has a lot of experience in working with people with dementia. She says that she finds it interesting how the same issue affects different people in different ways. She is calm and genuinely so naturally caring.

She has made firm friends with her clients and their families. She is ready to help anyone in any way. The way she talks about the people who she looks after really warms my heart and we are so lucky to have her on the team. 

Amy is providing companion care to several people living with dementia. She is taking one client to visit her husband in another care home. She takes another lady to Tescos and to have her hair done. She is also providing traditional home help including cleaning and decluttering. 

One of the ladies she looks after always tells her, “I’m so lucky to have a friend like you”.
