This review really belongs to Jan, not me. She is responsible for supporting a lovely lady in a local care home. Every week she takes some flowers and they arrange them together. If she is feeling up to it, they drive a couple of miles to visit her husband in another care home. If she isn’t then they stay home and look at old photos and read the paper together. They have a potter in the garden and a good chat. 

The lady’s daughter lives far away and likes to know that she is well cared for. Every week we send a little report about how the visit went. So we support the mum with some company, some 1-1 times talking about the old days and sometimes with a trip out to see her husband. We support the daughter to know how her mum is that day and what she has been doing. 

We are honoured to have Jan as part of the team. She is a retired nurse looking for a much calmer work-life balance. She is vastly over qualified and totally calm in any circumstance. She is gentle and knowledgeable and is becoming a firm friend of her clients. We are helping all sorts of people in all sorts of ways. Contact me if you think we might be able to help you
